You made the sale. TikTok says you earned the commission. So why isn't the money there yet? Affiliate commission goes through a few stages before it reaches your bank, and each one takes time. Knowing the stages makes it much easier to tell normal waiting from a real problem.

The three stages of a commission

1. Pending. The order was placed and your commission is estimated. Nothing is final yet: the buyer can still cancel, refund or return.
2. Settled. Once the order is delivered and the return window has passed, TikTok settles the commission into your TikTok balance. This is usually the longest wait, because it depends on shipping and on how long buyers have to send things back.
3. Withdrawn. Settled money sits in your TikTok balance until you withdraw it to your bank. That's a separate step you start in TikTok, and banks add their own processing time.

So the honest answer to "when does TikTok Shop pay affiliates?" is: after delivery and the return window, and then whenever you withdraw. For most sales that means weeks, not days. The exact rules can change, so TikTok Shop Creator Center and TikTok's own policy pages are the final word.

Why some sales take longer

• Slow shipping. The clock usually starts at delivery, so a product that ships slowly settles slowly.
• Returns and refunds. If the buyer returns the item, the commission is reversed. A partial refund lowers it.
